Questions, Questions.

I've got a couple of author interviews lined up potentially for my blog on booklikes and/or the magazine/website that is crazy enough to post my reviews. So I've never done this sort of thing before and haven't got the foggiest what to ask, how many questions, anything really.

Do I go humorous or search for wickedly annoying in depth questions that require a mammoth answer, not sure.

I have one question, I once read an interview (can't remember which) asking 'if you were stuck on a desert island, which book would you choose to be stuck with?'

Well my take on that would be - If you were stuck on a desert island and could choose 2 books as companions. 1 to read again and again, and one, page by page to wipe your backside with. Which books would you choose?

Does that sound OK or crap, what should I ask?

Would appreciate any help and if you do help I'll pop round and clear the snow from your drive tomorrow after work. Only on Booklikes could I ask for help in this way, what a place to hang :)
